About our DALL-E news
Latest news on DALL-E, an AI system that can create images from text descriptions, using a large neural network trained on a dataset of text-image pairs. It was developed by OpenAI and introduced in January 2021. DALL-E can generate images for a wide range of concepts, such as animals, objects, scenes, and styles. DALL-E can also manipulate existing images by regenerating parts of them according to the text prompt.
DALL-E 2 is an improved version of DALL-E that was released in July 2022. It can generate more realistic and accurate images with four times greater resolution than DALL-E. It can also combine concepts, attributes, and styles in novel ways.
DALL-E 3 is the latest version of OpenAI's AI system that can create images from text descriptions. It is built natively on ChatGPT, which lets you use ChatGPT as a brainstorming partner and refiner of your prompts. DALL-E 3 will be available to ChatGPT Plus and Enterprise customers in October 2023 via the API, and in Labs later this fall. Microsoft also announced that it will soon add access to DALL-E 3 for users to create images right in Bing Chat.
