About our Rapid Support Forces (RSF) news

Latest news on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a paramilitary force in Sudan led by General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, currently engaged in fighting with the Sudanese military, raising concerns of a potential civil war. The RSF originated from Janjaweed militias and was formed in 2013 to combat rebel forces in the Darfur region, but has since been accused of numerous human rights abuses, including targeting civilians and committing sexual violence.
