About our Toronto Blue Jays news
Latest news on the Toronto Blue Jays, a professional baseball team based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Established in 1977, they are a member of the American League (AL) East division in Major League Baseball (MLB). The Blue Jays are the only MLB team currently based in Canada and were the second Canadian team to join the league after the now-defunct Montreal Expos.
The Blue Jays have experienced success in their history, winning back-to-back World Series championships in 1992 and 1993, as well as capturing a total of seven American League East division titles. Their World Series victories made them the first team outside the United States to win the championship.
The team plays its home games at the Rogers Centre, a multi-purpose stadium with a retractable roof, located in downtown Toronto. The Blue Jays' team colours are navy blue, royal blue, red, and white, with a distinctive logo featuring a stylised blue jay bird.
